Zarek was a treacherous hobgoblin soldier of Tashar and a servant of Kahaeshan.
History[]
Zarek had served the Lords of Dust for years in secret before Kahaeshan (during his impersonation of Tazrak) ordered him to serve as the captain of the guards during the occupation of Daln. This position was also partly a result of a display of cunning by Zarek - he had struck a deal with Polonius Dyrian, in which the wizard was promised a mansion and power if he opened the gates of Daln to the hobgoblins.
Description[]
Zarek was a harsh disciplinarian and skilled archer. His wrists were reversed, marking him as a servant of the Lords of Dust. There was palpable viciousness and unpleasantness about him.
In the Campaign[]
Zarek interrogated Lannus during his imprisonment in Daln. He was later hung by Grarl when his treachery was revealed.
